6A Alpha Panel - Rectangle
Ideal room acoustics and an attractive appearance at the same time? The 6A Alpha Panel diffuser / absorber from GIK Acoustics offers both. The 6A Alpha acoustic modules create an even reverberation time across the entire frequency range and provide enough absorption to linearise the frequency response of the room.
The Alpha Series modules consist of a Greensafe rockwool core wrapped in the fabric of your choice. A visually appealing faceplate is installed on top of this. A mathematical sequence is then milled into the faceplate, which ensures that high frequencies are diffused in one or two dimensions.

Installation suggestions
The 6A Alpha Panel can be installed on either the front or rear wall.
It also works well on the rear side walls to control reverberation time or behind dipole speakers to reduce sharp reflections.
Of course, it can also be placed anywhere in recording rooms or other large spaces to distribute sound energy evenly throughout the room.
Optional free-standing feet are available for rectangular (60 x 120 cm) Alpha Panels. Freestanding, the room acoustics can be influenced by rotating the module, depending on which side faces into the room. For diffusion, the Alpha panel faces the front, for absorption, the fabric-covered back. In addition, the modules can be set up free-standing, flexibly at initial reflection points or at an angle in room corners as bass traps.
