GIK Acoustics has redesigned the PIB and given it a significant upgrade. In order to hook the panels together when the PIB V2 is fully open, a new locking mechanism is now installed on the top for further stabilization instead of a Velcro fastener.
The new PIB V2 is also manufactured with recessed panels so that they sit elegantly in the fabric-covered frame. This makes them much more durable and also ensures a professional look in your Studio.
Size makes all the difference
In contrast to small foam screens that only work behind the microphone, the PIB PACK surrounds the performer on several sides with full acoustic panels - including ceiling absorption. This ensures dry, clean and focused recordings, free from distracting reflections.
The individual components remain flexible: each PIB V2 can also be used on its own as a gobo or as part of a larger setup. The ceiling panel is lightweight, can be mounted without tools - and the whole set can be set up in just a few minutes.
