Space-Time Machine

The Space-Time Machine creates a spatial sound that is both natural, transparent, and clear while also delivering a beautiful sonic character of its own. This is achieved through a unique combination of digital and analog components. Of course, there’s a processor that calculates the reverb, but it's enriched with the signature analog sound of Tegeler devices.

Unique Control Concept

The Space-Time Machine offers the most direct path to the right sound with only three parameters. Instead of navigating through hundreds of parameters (90% of which most non-programmers wouldn’t understand anyway), you simply dial in the sound your mix needs. An approach to control more like that of a real musical instrument.

Presets Made Easy

Tegeler skipped the complicated preset management directly on the device. If you remember programming the timer on a VCR, you’ll know why. The Space-Time Machine is equipped with servo motors and can be remote-controlled via your DAW. Likewise, changes made directly on the unit are instantly reflected in the Space-Time Machine plug-in. Use your DAW’s preset management or the plug-in’s — it’s that easy!

Remote Control

All knobs on the Space-Time Machine are equipped with servo motors. You can control it directly on the device, via the built-in web server, or through the DAW plug-in (AU, AAX, VST).
Since the STM connects to your computer via Ethernet, there’s no cable length limitation like with USB. Even Wi-Fi through your router is possible.

Tubes? Yes, Tubes!

The Space-Time Machine has two dual triodes per channel as well as input and output transformers. That’s why it only has analog inputs and outputs — no digital ones. Otherwise, a crucial sound element would be missing. If you like it fat, try overdriving the tube input stage.

Natural – But Not Only

Even though the goal was a natural reverb sound, it’s also possible to create unnatural ones. A storage room with 3 seconds of decay? Absolutely. It sounds unusual — but might suit your mix perfectly. You can test it in a second.

How Does It Sound Compared to Others?

Unlike any Lexi-TC-Event-Bri-Qs. It definitely won’t replace a cloud reverb or spring tank. But its unique spatial depth is guaranteed to earn its place as your main reverb. Hear it for yourself and be enchanted.
