GIK Acoustics 242 Acoustic Absorber - Rectangle
The 242 Absorber Acoustic Elements are an excellent choice for first reflection points, flutter echoes or to reduce reverberation in a room. Every room is unique, which is why three standard sizes are available, as well as custom designs. Ideal for improving room acoustics in hi-fi rooms, recording studios, home studios, restaurants, home theaters and various other spaces.
Thanks to stable frames, the 242 absorbers can be easily mounted on walls or ceilings. The rear frame also creates a cavity, which improves the absorptivity of the acoustic elements.
The 242 absorbers are professional broadband absorbers constructed around a rigid absorptive core. This means that they act on the entire frequency spectrum. The acoustic modules are designed as a two-frame system which allows to absorb laterally incident sound and to guarantee a sharp and clear edge. The built-in cavity not only improves low-frequency absorption, but also allows the acoustic panels to be attached flush to the wall via a wire cable attached to the back.
